The play focuses on the encounter between Cypriots and Swedes before, during and after the completion of the Expedition.
Known and forgotten historical figures will “meet” in a new promenade devised theatre performance that will be held at the historic premises of this national museum in Stockholm, which exhibits a large number of finds from the Swedish Expedition, including half of the iconic collection from the Agia Eirini sanctuary.
The production is carried out in collaboration with the Department of Antiquities.
The performance on 17 March is addressed to diplomatic missions and guests of the Cyprus Presidency. The performance of 18 March is addressed to the public.
