Krama Brass Band is an emerging band established in 2023 by two Cypriot musicians, Andreas Theocharous and Nicholas Georgiou. Krama comprises eight professional musicians – six wind instruments, guitar and drums. rama will perform original compositions and arrangements of traditional Cypriot pieces.

Krama’s original music is inspired by the traditional music of Cyprus and, more broadly, the Mediterranean, and is presented in a contemporary form using arranging, harmony, and improvisation techniques from Western musical genres. The members creatively combine their knowledge and skills in jazz and classical music with their local musical influences to showcase their own approach to contemporary Cypriot music, with emphasis on the traditional sounds and multicultural influences of Cyprus.

The event is carried out within the framework of the Programme “Events at Embassies of the Republic of Cyprus abroad”, in the context of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026.
