What does it mean to grow up in an environment of discipline and strictness? How can one recognise violence and turn towards love? How can one dare to expose themselves and leave silence behind? How can loss be transformed into connection?
Two dancers confess on stage their personal life journeys, their experiences, and their own stories of violence, loss, and survival. In the end, through different paths, they arrive at a shared place: the need for connection, for freedom, for love.
From mourning to celebration, from grief to release. Through confessions marked by humour, harshness, and tenderness, the performance moves constantly between opposites, until they begin to dissolve.
Before the performance begins, the audience is invited to respond anonymously to a series of questions. Their answers co-shape the stage outcome. In this way, the performers’ personal stories are transformed into a collective experience, within which each audience member can recognise themselves.
Love constantly shifts between the personal and the collective, the tragic and the comic. It is a space where violence and loss are expressed and transformed into freedom. A performance that invites the audience to redefine, in deeply personal terms, the meaning of love.
